anyone know any good Puzzly type of games?

Sister wants some more Puzzle type of games and only owns the GC. Has Super Monkey Ball and plays that to death. Anyone know any more like this? minus the 2 sequals out for it :D

Any help would be appreciated thanks.

Worms 3D blast might be alright. Thought about buying it, but wimped out.

Midway Arcade Treasures 1 has KLAX, which is fun.

Import a copy of Nintendo Puzzle Collection. US gamers are SOL.

Gamecube is the worst Nintendo console ever in terms of Puzzle games.

Hell, the N64 had Pokemon Puzzle, Tetrisphere, and Dr. Mario.

Gamecube has Egg-Mania (which sucks), Puyo Pop Fever (which is one of the worst versions of Puyo Pop ever), Tetris Worlds (which is the worst version of Tetris ever. A $3 key chain would be a better deal), and... uh... that's about it. If you want a good game you'll have to get a free-loader and get Kururin Squash or Nintendo Puzzle Collection. Those are great games.

I liked ZooCube. It has 4 players and can get pretty competitive (although it is hard to see on a smalller screen). It got pretty bad reviews, but I enjoyed it and bought it for $10 almost a year ago.

Are PC games an option? Seriously. The PC has so many puzzles games - downloadable, even.

I'd recommend importing the Nintendo Puzzle Collection, which just by the games that I have heard that are on there are just awesome. Other than that, stick to your guns with Bust a Move and Tetris since there aren't too many for the GCN.

Definitely import the puzzle collection.

And Puyo Pop is fun if you haven't played any of the older versions of it to comare it to. (Its not that bad, I personally love it, but I can see why others don't like it as much as classic versions)

What is Nintendo Puzzle Collection like? I'm tempted to get an Action Replay and get it, if the price is right...

I second Zoocube - it's a fun game, and pretty cheap (I got my copy for five bucks, and used copies are under $10 at Gamestop).

it's really a shame that Nintendo Puzzle Collection hasn't made it to the states though.

Nintendo Puzzle Collection

• 3 addictive puzzle classics on one disc
• Yoshi's Cookie
• Panel de Pon (Pokemon Puzzle League)
• Gamecube to GBA Link Mode (comes with
a Game Cube to GBA Link Cable)

Nintendo Puzzle Collection features 3 separate puzzle games: Dr. Mario, Yoshi's Cookie and Panel de Pon. All three games will have enhanced graphics and sound over the original, support up to 4 players simultaneously and support the GC-GBA cable, which allows you to play these games on GameBoy Advance.

Also Mr. Driller Drill Land looks awesome if you're going the import route

I thought NOA had intended to bring out Nintendo Puzzle Collection in the States. Have those plans been officially canned?

I know that initially they were intending to bring it over but I believe that NOA later decided that the market in the US wouldn't buy these so I think it was cancelled. They did the same thing with this game as they have done with the Fire Emblem, Earthbound, and Custom Robo series in the past . I think that maybe if we heckle them a little they might bring it over if there were enough of us.

If they price it at a bargain price, let's say no higher than $29.99, I guarantee it would sell well.

What's so great about Nintendo Puzzle Collection? It's just 3 old puzzle games with some slight improvements. I've only seen it for $50+, which is a lot of money for the content. Even w/ the cable and GBA functionality, I wouldn't get it for more than $20 if they released it here.
