Resident Evil 0, Weskers Report, & RE Movies Plot? (Spoilers)

So I'm playing RE:4 and loving it. The problem is I hated the old RE forumla... so I haven't played any of the other RE's enough to get an semblance of story for them. So I just met Ms. Ada Wong, but apprently Leon knows her. Anyone care to explain this whole thing to me... seeing as I'm not going to play through the other RE's. Wesker, Claire Redfield, Jane Valentine. I konw their names... but nothing about them. Also... try not to spoil anything for me in Re:4... as I'm enjoying the sotry. Thanks if you can help. Appreciate it.

PS: I want the others games ruined for me... as I'm never going to play them but would like to know what the greater arc is.

EDIT2: That was a great summary up there. But unfortunately it doesn't cover RE0, Weskers Report, or either of the Movies. I don't care to much about the plot of the movies (do they mesh well with the game? I've only seen the 1st one). The movies have nothing to do with the games... the storylines are alternate.

That site and Wesker Reports (1 and 2) sums up the plot. All you really have understand is Ada's role in RE2 and Weskers role to fully grasp the meaning behind Ada and Wesker in RE4.

As for Zero, it's just a pre-quel. it really not important, but if you always wondered what happened to the bravo team it pretty much fills you in.

As for the movies, it has nothing to do with the games, (which is a damn fricken shame) they don't follow the plot of the games so don't worry about them. Although if you've played all the Resident Evils, some of scenes (mostly in the 2nd movie) may look fimilar . :wink:

Here is the plot I think RE5 should be about



I cant wait for RE5, I think the storyline should be Wesker resurrecting umbrella (just like what Krauser mentioned in RE4). From what we learned in RE4 Wesker is collecting all the known viruses for a purpose, and after having Ada collect the sample from Leon he has the complete collection. With all the viruses Wesker should have enough power to put the whole world at risk by trying to mass produce it. So for RE5 we should see Wesker threating the president at the white house that he is going to unleashed the virus upon the united states. So the president sends Leon (since he works for the president) and a team of mercenaries to Europe where they believe is the base of operations of Umbrella. Upon arriving they learn the city they arrive in has been infected with the virus and are all zombies, or those las plagas. The whole team gets wiped out except for Leon who survives.

Later on in the game they should introduce Jill, Chris, Clarie and Barry. They should have a scene where Leon is about to die and is surrounded by zombies when Jill, Chris and company save Leon. Then Leon will learn that they heard about the threat from Umbrella, and wanted to finish Wesker and Umbrella for good so it led them here. Then when that happens you should be allowed to select who stays with you (to be your 2nd playable characther) while the other three go investigate in another country because they think Wesker is also hiding out there.

Hunk, Wesker, Steve Burnside (from RE CV), and Ada should be the bad guys along with other monsters. If Krauser survived RE4 it would be cool to have him as a boss again also. Ada should end up turning on Wesker, and helping the good guys in the end, but to make the story more dramatic I think Ada should die at the end when Leon and her are trying to escape. She should be killed by Wesker to make it more emotional in the final boss fight. I hope they bring back the mercenaries mode and put a bunch of characthers in it because I loved that mini game.

What they could do is just say that Umbrella wins and the whole world is turned into zombies. Even Leon OMFGzor.
