hey nneace, i did find this deal at amazon.com: buy season one and two together for $79.99 w/ free super saver shipping. this isn't too shabby considering that it retails for $120, but its still more than i wanted to spend. here's the link:

Gilmore Girls Season 1 & 2 @ amazon.com for $79.99 (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B00062J12A/qid=1107729814/sr=8-3/ref=pd_csp_3/103-9711224-5411038?v=glance&s=dvd&n=507846)

Hey thanks highwaypatrolman, but like you it is a little more than I wanted to spend. I think I will wait until a few more are out, and Best Buy has a type of deal that they had with Friends (where the early seasons are cheap to try to get you hooked on the show). Also, I might try Costco, because I got a ton of DVD deals from there (every season of Friends $19.99 and Indiana Jones Collection $24.99 and Back to The Future Collection was $19.99). So if I hear any other deals, I will post it here.

PS That would be a cool new feature, to have a topic for each individual game or DVD and post all related deals there!

My wife watches it so I got dragged into it. It's not a bad show, plus the daughter is great looking.

Hmm, do you tell your wife that the daughter is great looking?...

I don't really watch the show, but from what I've seen the mother is definitely better looking than the daughter.

No way, the daughter is much prettier. She looks so innocent too..:D

That doesn't sound like pedophilia at all!

It's not. Alexis Bledel (aka 'Rory') is 23 in real life (24 in September 2005). She did attend college, though not Yale (as in her show); she was a film major at NYU.

God, I can't stand that show. The writing stinks. The acting stinks. I feel dumber whenever my wife watches it and I'm on the couch reading my free magazine subscriptions to Gamepro, EGM, Maxim, Stuff, and FHM. If I didn't have those, I'd shoot myself.
