Hello, first of all let me say how much I enjoy CAG. I have been a lurker for a while but I have a question.
I just purchased a sony VAIO desktop. It is VCG-RA820G. The system has 2 input for A/V connection. Is there any way I can play my gamecube using these. I connected the gamecube but nothing happens. Since I know CAG members are so knowledgeable, I thought I try here. Thanks is advance and GO CAG!!!

Are you sure its input? Usually its output... and if it is input, you may need software.

It is input. The manual suggests that I can input VCR or camcorders. If I need a software then can you suggest any?? Thanks

read your instruction manuals. I'm sure that it comes with complimentary software to run video and audio.

You have to have something that'll take the input and do something with it.
Its pretty useless for videogames though, because of the delay. You don't want to play a game 2 or 3 seconds behind. You can take screenshots, I guess, or record yourself playing.

You need software to capture the video coming in to your video card. I record my gaming when I feel like showing off to my online buddies, I use Pinnacle Studio 8 to capture the video. Also, I don't get any delay when I play depends on the video card I guess.
