WTF? I could've sworn Atlanta was considered a big city, but hardly anything ever fucking happens there!

holy crap u rule casey lol i forgot all about that thread what a consolation prize for my eagles losing. I cried like a little bitch and got $100 all on the same day. I am a true fan though and would happily give the $100 away if someone had a time machine to go back and have mcnabb not throw 3 interceptions.

I'm not seeing anything on that site detailing the gaming there, can you tell me about the past competitions? What games? Prizes?

How fast do you think it will sell out. I dont want to buy one until the gaming details get set.

$50 for a weekend pass, ouch. They'd have to have something I knew I could win. Most people who games competitively dont pay money to go to con tournys.

The one in Beantown is at the same time my lease is up. I dunno what's up with that, The Man must be trying to set this up so I can't come to the Expo Center and dominate everyone in my path, per usual.

there has never been a past video game competition at a wizard world con

this is the first year

they put on the biggest best cons in all fandom that deal with comics toys anime manga collectibles stars autographs(i saw elizsha dushku there last year) and sony game demos.

they have a magazine called wizard about comics and the new issue states that this years cons will have the biggest competitions in the country.

if anyone knows wizard and the power they hold in the industry u cannot doubt them

the first con in LA will give the info so i know what to expect for philly

buy your tickets from the site

no one been 2 a wizard con?

i'm thinking since this is their first year with the competition it may be easy to take some people down.

they are primarily a comic toy anime celeb show

It's nothing that ever happens in Minnesota =[. They should come here (but it doesn't have anything so major) .. But MmmChicago.. I can't exactly walk there... and I don't exactly have a car x.x..

I went to the Texas Wizard World back in 2003. No competition then, but Sony gave out a few demos. Had a few TV's set up for ppl to try the Eyetoy and Spawn.

Hopefully now there will be a bigger video game presence.

I've been to every Wizard World that they've had in Philly. They're awesome. If your into comics or toys, or anything related, you owe it to yourself to check it out. The place is like Heaven to the collector.
