ok im going to eb games today and i want to get a game. I have about 20 bucks to spend so. I was thinking farcry but was wondering do you think this is the best choice for a game to buy. My specs are as follows:
p4 2.8
640 ram
80 gig hd
9200 ati radeon vid card

I am hoping it will run smooth. Whats your thoughts everyone

If you dont have Half life 2 than get that but if you have it definately get Far Cry. Theres really nothing else out there that are as awesomne as these games. (for PC)

your computer will run any game out now just fine, quit typing, go to EB, grab it, install it, and play it the rest of the day. that's your homework.

I think your video card might not allow you to run at the highest settings, can't say how well it will run.

FarCry was one of the greatest FPS I've ever played. Such a shame not many people bought it (or so I heard at least)

I recommend it all the time at work.

Another one for the recommendation crowd! Just be very carreful when choosing which patch to install (if you install any...) Bad things can happen if you don't ;)

Also, the lastest patch (pretty old now) allows you to enter HD mode, which basically makes things look shinier, and thus, better. Don't think your VC can support it though.

Oh, basically don't get the first or second patch. Your saves will get corrupted and may have to do a complete uninstall reinstall. Also, updating from 1 to 2 = computer crasher. Multiplayer is f'ed up with patch 1. Basically, update from original install to patch 3.
