Through the grace and kindness of Cheapy last night I was able to change avatars and sigs. This afternoon I tried to change location and have the same problem. I must be behind a proxy--so what might I do to disable it temporarily to edit my profile?

I post fine, I'm at work but same thing happened at home. Cheapy asked if I was behind a proxy--I don't think I am. I can post fine, the only problem is editing profile.

I checked your IP and I dont think you are behind a proxy.
Also, I was just able to change your location (I added "(test)").

Your problem yesterday was caused by your Avatar being too large, which would prevent you from updating your profile.

Not sure what the problem is today.

Tried using both firefox and IE. strange.

Tried again tonight, turned off all firewalls (briefly) didn't go through. This isn't a huge deal, but just thought I'd share these experiences.

EDIT: Here is another wrinkle, I logged off and signed in as my old login name. Tried to edit something and it went through no problem. (so its not the computer but something weird with my account right?)
