Does lambswool shrink?

I recently bought a 100% lambswool sweater and I'm afraid to put it in the dryer. I can't dry clean it either because I don't want to waste my money on it and I can't air dry it because it smells like crap. Any suggestions?

I have all mine dry cleaned. They don't shrink if you take care of them.

Read the damn tag... Unless there is no tag, in which case pay for dry cleaning...
