Gaming.. dreams?

Why did I just have a dream about games? I'm not that obsessed with them..

I had went into a Best Buy (I haven't stepped foot in a Best Buy since ESPN NHL 2K5 came out) and was browsing around.. I was near their computer and saw a glass case at the bottom.. and there were mint/complete copies of FF2 and Chrono Trigger for 2.99 each. While I proceeded to freak out, somehow in my dream, I wound up at another store, where every new game was like $12. Seriously, I had NFL Street 2 (I hate the NFL Street series), Snatcher (!), Oddworld: Stranger's Wrath, and something else in my hand, and they were $12 each. I was with my dad (which is odd since I haven't spoken to him since November) and we just kinda.. left. He later told me that those prices were the prices the guy GIVES for the game, and none of the games were on sale. I was kinda like "oh", and looked down at Street 2 and Snatcher. And then people started shooting the car with bows and arrows. And then my dad disappeared and I was driving and ended up at my ex's house. I walked in and took off my shoes.. and I woke up.

I figured I would've had freaky dreams since I watched the Grudge earlier in the day and some other movie.. but seriously.. gaming dreams?! I woke up and was pissed off when I didn't have my FF2 or Chrono Trigger.. (I do have both of those games, but they're at my brother's house) I do have Snatcher, though.. and i've, God help me, actually considered picking up Street 2.

Anyways.. what kind of freaky dreams did you guys have last night?

I had a dream I went into EB, grabbed as many games as I could and ran out... somehow I lost my pants in the confussion...

I dont have dreams about gaming DEALS. But I have gaming influenced dreams all the time. I had a combo RE4/Shawn of the dead dream earlier in the week. A small bunch of us were running away from some Ganados type characters through the neighborhood, ducking in and out of alleys and houses.

Lots of undead and monsters in my dreams, I never have good dreams. Its a real drag.

When I was making a tetris clone in my beginning programing class, I dreamt of falling blocks. Does that count?

Here's one I had about a week ago.

Okay, last night I went to sleep and had one strange dream.

It started out with me going into Circuit City and looking through their video game section. I look at a clearance bin and see opened copies of The Punisher for Xbox and PS2 for $5.

I just about shat myself in the dream and immediately took them over to buy them.

I get so excited that I kinda wake up from my sleep. But I still think my dream is real. So I'm trying to fight myself to wake up around 2 a.m. to drive to Circuit City and pick up the games.

Well, I ended up falling asleep, but my dream continued. I find out the deal is online too! So in my dream, I'm just about to buy the games from cc.com, but I wake up again!

And just like before, I wake up at this point and try to get myself out of bed so I could go buy the games.

I finally realized what was going on during my morning shower. I'm still bummed that it was only a dream.

No gaming dreams recently but just this morning I found myself in a strange mutated version of a British sitcom that until recently I'd heard of but never seen until the BBC America channel ran a marathon. 'Are You Being Served?' started in 1972 and was confined to interior sets. From what I saw there were really only two sets with a third location being a roll-in for the main set.

For some odd reason this dream was like a movie that followed one of the characters outside and going around franticly trying to find or do something. He had a very expensive sports car that the character could never afford even the down payment for but that is what he drove. Upon waking I had no idea what he was after or why I was along for the ride.

Yeah, had the one with the Tetris blocks moving around.

Also when the first Tomb Raider came out I kept seeing the scenery go by in my sleep one night. Rocks and moss, over and over. Weird.

I had a gaming dream recently too. I was watching the SmileTopless.com girl play dance revolution, and it was good.

I once had a resident evil dream(I used to play the 1stone on ps1 alot), where I was in the mansion W/my mom, and a zombie got her. And she later turned and I had to take her out..It was one of the most intense/scary dreams I have EVER had!

all i could remember about my dream last nite was that i was trying to make a steak gordita but it kept falling apart in my hands. i fumbled with it for what seems like hours and it just kept falling apart. it truely sucked and made me sad.

I have a dream every once in a while as if I was playing Halo 2. It's screwed up I normally end up getting ran over by a hog or shot by a sniper. NOT COOL!

This is weird, I was about to start the same topic because of a videogame dream I had on Monday. I have videogame dreams at least every other month.
