Want more bang for your buck?
A "how-to" guide by SpeedFire.
Want 6800 Ultra speeds but don't feel like spending that amount of money? Buy an 6800 GT, doesn't even matter what brand really (although if I had to pick, I'd go with BFG.)
Buy one of these puppies: http://www.sidewindercomputers.com/arconvsi5for.html
Slap it on your 6800 GT.
At the very least you will be able to OC to Ultra speeds. Personally, I am near Ultra Extreme speeds. Now let's do some math to prove my point.
Nvidia 6800 GT: $400
Arctic Cooler: $30 after shipping and such
Total: $430, less or more.
Nvidia 6800 Ultra- $500
You will save yourself $70, more or less, in the process. And laugh in the face of the people who actually bought an Ultra because they thought it would be that much better then a GT ;)
