Just signed up for an account myself. Took maybe 3 minutes. I skipped putting in any information for now and I still got the $10 credit. (I wasn't sure if it would make you enter billing info before doing that for you or not, but it doesn't.)
Have you tried selling anything on there? Does it get any traffic? Maybe I'll give it a shot in a week or so.

I haven't posted anything on it yet. Their auctions doesn't look like they generate as much traffic as they would on ebay. But hopefully it has the potential to grow to contend with ebay, since ebay raised their fees.
