I've neglected my GameCube a little bit since getting my Xbox, but since I just broke that (see my topic in Xbox forum), I'm wondering what some of the GameCubes must own titles are. I'm not talking A- or B+ titles, but just the cream of the cream of the crop, as in Mario 64 and Goldeneye for the N64.

SSBM is the same way, so if you include one you have to include the other.

gc VJ1 is better than ps2.
it's prettier and dante is stupid
avoid Sucktroid Lame and RE4
the n64 version of mario kart was never fun to begin with and I'll heartily recommend puyo pop fever and Pikmin 1 and 2

again while i like both, i found melee to be more fun.

Get games that have the Only For Nintendo thing in the top-left corner there. Those are the games to get.

Thanks for the comments. I think I'll pick up Animal Crossing and Eternal Darkness, after putting them off for about 2 years. :P
My list as of right now:
Resident Evil: REmake
Resident Evil 4
Mario Kart: Double Dash!!
Super Smash Bros. Melee
TimeSplitters 2

Deffinetly go with Skies Of Arcadia ,
Dunvane

Hmmm.
Tales of Symphonia first and foremost.
Warioworld.
Mario Power Tennis.
Bust-a-Move 3000.
Hopefully those are ones you hadn't thought about. There are also several titles only available for GCN, like P.N.03 and Billy Hatcher for example, just incase you're someone who likes to play the side titles. Granted, you said only A+++ titles, but these games are cheap.

Tales of Symphonia!

Let me try to think here:
I'll only use the GCN exclusives, though. Bolded games are highly recommended.
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Mario Kart: Double Dash
Metroid Prime
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Eternal Darkness
Pikmin 2
Super Mario Sunshine
Resident Evil Remake
Resident Evil Zero
Resident Evil 4
Paper Mario: The Thousand Year Door
Mario Power Tennis
Metal Gear Solid: The Twin Snakes
Ikaruga (DC import doesn't count)
Legend of Zelda Collector's Disc (sorry, had to include it)
Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker
Star Wars: Rogue Leader
Animal Crossing (only if you have a lot of free time)
I believe those are all the exclusive "a+" titles on the Gamecube. They are in no particular order.

I think Nephets' list is pretty good for GCN exclusives. I haven't played Rogue Leader, and I don't like platformers in general, so I wouldn't agree with Super Mario Sunshine. I would add the original Pikmin though, even if it was short. I haven't played most of the RPGs yet (Tales, Baten), so I don't know about those. MK:DD is a must-have only if you have a buddy, since IMO the fun is in the co-op. If you have friends w/GBAs, I'd add recommend Zelda: Four Swords; that one is a lot of fun too.
