Whatever happened to the game Call of Cthulu?

I remember hearing that this game would be released last year in quarter four (sometime in the fall or winter time) but haven't heard any word of it. I checked on Bethesda Soft's website and it seems that it has been pushed back to quarter 1 2005. what's up with it; are they just refining the game or is being pushed farther back till its eventual canning? Does it have any chance at all of coming out either this gen or at all?

This game seemed really interesting from the get go with very nice visuals and a very nice combat system by the sound of it. I was looking forward to it but then it just shot off of my and most people's radar.

I wouldnt worry about it. in my opinion Bethseda has been making quality games for some time. Back when Arena was their latest game it was overlooked but the Elder Scrolls Series has never once been a let down for me.

They have the game coming give them time to complete it.
