Does anyone famous live near you?

In my town Wayne Gretzky, and Kerry Kittles (NBA) used to live in Mahwah where I live

Ja Rule,Jason Kidd,Fat Joe,Mariano Rivera,Lawrence Taylor,Amani Toomer, & Russel Simons live within 15 minutes of me,and im guessing a hellava lot more people sinse i live about 20 minutes outside of NYC.

I live about 20 minutes from where all of Kevin Smith's films were made and about 30 from where Whitney Houston lives. My 6 year old cousin is on a softball team with Joe Pantoliano's kid, but that's up in Conneticut. That's about the best I've got.

And technically I'm within 30 minutes of everyone you mentioned, since I'm less than a half hour south of Mahwah.

I live in toronto, I'm sure there are famous people somewhere near me. Also, adam oates son went to my high school in reading, MA (it was a jr high and high school, I think I was in 10th when he entered 6th), and the bruins practice at a rink about 5 minutes from my house, and a restaurant also 5 minutes from my house is frequented by bruins. Some of them probably lived near me as well (I live near boston half the year).

Ashton Kutcher went to my school and lived in the village of Homestead (one of the seven villages of Amana). Once a film crew from Britain came to my chemistry class and filmed it for a show they were doing about Ashton because he was planning on going into biochemical engineering, which was cool. AFAIK the show hasn't aired in the states.

I grew up in a town near Los Angeles that has always had a good number of actors and musicians living in the neighborhood. The list is way too long to think of going through here. Around here a garage band might already have some gold records. Some prominent types actually sprang up here. Belinda Carlisle was a year behind my sister at Newbury Park HS. Heather Locklear was a Westlake Village girl. I could tell she was going to age well because I'd see her grocery shopping with her mother and she was a MILF of the highest order.

During part of my tempestuous youth I was at odd sort of private school called Mountainview in Calabasas. A lot of my classmates were the troubled offspring of celebrities.

There area lot of sound stage in my immediate neighborhood within bicycling distance. A lot of local rental properties are perpetually leased by the studios and production companies to house their performers during production season. For instance, all of the CSI's do interior shots at the local stages.

yea my cousin got to know him very well, since my cousin is huge into hockey (he also works at the arena).

I think my dad also did Roy Williams house in Chapel Hill and a Cowboys player's house out in Chapel Hill, but do not remember. I know he did a house for some famous williams.

Maybe I know some people with famous parents, or seen some famous people, but I don't seem to know most of the famous people that everyone else knows. The only famous people I know I've seen is marcus fizer (not really famous, used to play with the bulls and was decent for a few years, saw him in boston), chris mihm (a center in the nba, played for boston at the time but I saw him in chicago when I was visiting there I also saw one of the jordan furniture guys in the burlington mall in MA. I've seen tons of local musicians, though they're not famous at all (well I did just hear one from boston on the radio in a toronto coffeehouse, so maybe she's gaining some popularity).

Why, you're Dave Matthews. As I was reading those names, they all sounded kind of familiar, and then when I got to Boyd Tinsely, that really rang a bell. Random trivia: his wife went to the same college as my fiancée (PinkPearlGirl on here). The song "Crash" was written in the basement of the dorm in which she lived for two years.
