I want this game, but I hate players choice titles. Has anyone else passed on this title for that reason?

Nope. I played it, and next time I get some cash, it's mine.

You dont like it because its a players choice? That sounds kinda dumb if you ask me. Unless you're collecting or something, I don't see why you would pre-judge a game based on the fact that it says "players choice" on it.

Personally, I think thie VS. game is great fun if you have 3 or 4 players to play along. Pac man world is a good kids game. It was worth $15 to me. Just out of curiosity, do you not like all the other players choice titles because they are PC or because of the games themselves?

I should be more specific. It's not that I don't want the game, I do. I just wish there were a way to get the game with better packaging. (read, no players choice yellow)

Hmm...I think we've had this debate before...

In any case, I don't see why it matters. If you want to be anal-retentive about the packaging, feel free to. I'm happier getting the cheaper copy of the game and ignoring the box like I usually do regardless. :D

Or you could just get the Pac Man Vs. official casing, as it was when its alone. And buy Pac-Man World seperetly. But, it's the only Player's Choice title I will ever buy (with the logo on it I mean) because its practically its own seperate game.

Dude, it's black and yellow, like Pacman. Suck it up.

Would you pass on VFEVO because it was GH only?

Crikey. BLACK AND YELLOW IS PACMAN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1111

Collectors have an obsession over these things. You can't blame the guy, I feel the same way about the things.

Did they even sell the Pacman World 2/Pacman Vs. as a non player's choice?

^^ No, I don't think they did.

The VS doesn't come with the original Pac Man Wrold 2, thus this is a collectors item, and not just a players choise.

I got the separate version that doesn't come with Pac-Man World 2 to avoid Player's Choice as well. You had to buy I-ninja or another eligible game to get it (or know someone who can get it for you for free  ). They sell regularly for around 5 bucks on eBay, so this is the way to go if you don't give a rat's ass about Pac-Man World. Here's one still active:

The downside to this one, of course, is that it comes in a cardboard promo slip....you know, like a demo disc. So I just keep mine in a regular DVD case, with the cardboard thing in the window in the front

I love how everything every posted on Ebay is "rare" or "hard to find".. even if there are another couple hundred/thousand of the same item posted.

Yeah, I just bought a SNES from eBay... I checked trough all the 300 auctions, and one of them sain that it's rare and you can't find SNES anywhere anymore and that "once it's gone it's gone" :D

Thats so all the clueless relatives of gamers who want to get them something will buy it because they are misinformed.

People are crazy. If it bothers you that much then buy the game, find a picture of it from a different country and cover it it. God people need to get lives, or brains.
