Maybe I should throw in there that I buy regular.

And I drive a 40 mile, in town paper route.
With no gas compensation.
Seven days a week.

What paycheck?

Here in Hercules, Bay Area CA where gas is gouged to death:

$2.25
$2.40
$2.50

So all the people complaining about your $2.00-, be happy.

Ha Ha ha the redneck capital of the worl has the cheapest gas. I guess living with a buch of people with no teeth and who smell does have an advantage. We are only 1.52 here in GA

Hmm...I think it's around $1.80 at most gas stations here.

I'm glad that I don't have a license yet...gas is one less thing I have to worry about paying for. :D

it's $1.72 at the gas station on the corner, but i thought i saw it for under $1.70 on the way home from work today.

i want to know is where my water-powered hovercraft is. it's 2004 and we don't have teleporters, we don't have hovercars, and we don't have cities that go up miles into the sky. instead, we're paying more than ever for gas for our very non-hovering cars.

screw you, hanna barbara.

$1.82 for 87 octane in Binghamton, NY. By looking at the other prices I have no reason to complain.

To think just two years ago I was getting gas for $1.14 at the exact same locale.

about 2 months ago I was paying .50 cents less a gallon that I am now(not really paying anything as I do not have a car since I got into an accident about a month ago)

water/gas? For some reason that sounds bad for a car...

If you are in NYC and buying gas you are foolish. Mass transit goes EVERYWHERE here.

I suggest you all get a bike.

Positive aspect of gas hike:

People have stopped bugging my wife and I about our tendency to buy small cars. Texans in SUVs - 0. Displaced Yankee Yuppies Coupe Drivers - 1.

water/gas? For some reason that sounds bad for a car...

That's because it would be... the cheap stations in my neck of the woods have been busted on multiple occasions for mixing water into the gas, along with adjusting the pumps so it's actually shorting you, and selling regular as super.... gotta love the sleazy owners.
