I know there are memory card for the xbox. However, seeing how the thing already has a 50gb HDD, why would you need to have any more than one per controller? Why do they have two ports? They have a rumble feature in the controller. Does the voice chat stuff plug into one too?

you can use the front port for the XBL communicator and the back for a memory card at the same time.

Yeah, you can use them as expansion slots for devices as well. One of the cheapassed Xbox microphones can plug into one. I don't know of any others off hand.

Yeah, the Live communicator plugs into one of the slots, leaving the other one for a memory card. I bought one at one time to back up data just incase the hard-drive crashed on me.

It said 50000 blocks available, I just assumed it'd be 50000 megs. I suppose its only 8gb now that I look... oh well.

One slot is strictly for the xbox live communicator
the other is strictly for the memory card
