Do custom songs have an effect on the game? I know if you used them in hockey you had problems with it locking up and what not. I thougt I read something similiar in MLB

If you're on XBLive (logged on) and play a game, custom soundtracks won't play.. other than that, I don't think there's a problem
//edit: The opening guitar to "Just Because" by Jane's Addiction rocks for a batting theme.

Ok, I was just curious....becuase I know in NHL it caused the game to crash at times...

I've had Burnout 3 lock up when using Custom Soundtracks many times.

No problems with custom soundtracks for me. It is cool because you can select any song for each individual player on the game.
My personal favorite is the phantom of the opera song for Barry Bonds. If you are going to download it, search for the "Phantom of the Opera - Overture" version.
