View Full Version : Brothers in arms, Im addicted, and my verdict is......

Better then Halo 2 no doubt and I never thought those words would leave my mouth. The whole setup of the game is the best I seen in a WWII type game. The music, sound effects, strategy, awareness is spectacular. The thing that has me hooked is whats called Situational Awareness. When you press the select button it takes you into this mode which lets you see the battlefield, and think of strategy, like giving cover fire to surpress the enimies, then one of your squad mates go around the cover fire and flank the enimies one by one. The graphics are REALLY good, top I seen in a while. Im only 2 hours in, but I couldent stomach halo 2 after an hour single player that is. I havent played brother at arms online YET, so i cant give my oppion of that yet. Best 30$ I EVER spent this year.

I see that you are...saw you on playing it earlier. I hated the SP of Halo and not really big into MP aspect of that, so I think this game is right up my alley. I'm really curious as to how the PC version will be handled though.

come on you can lay down and play but I prefer to stand up for this game, so damn exciting, when u got 5.1 surrond sound, 5 speakers and a sub filled with machine gun noices, bomb blast, and ALOT of cursing in this game
If you like it that much, at least get the name right. You spent, assumedly, $50 on a game and continually incorrectly say the name of it?

to make a long story short
My buddy ownes a small gameshop, and I work like 10 hours a week(a side job, as I have a full time job already elsewhere) instead of paying me, he gives me like 100-150 in credit their, in which I buy his new games for 30-35$ brand new and some used, and then I turn around and sell them here usually, I sold to like 6 members here, the games i got from his shop. I CANT start doing that until April again, so guys pleas dont ask till then (trading that is)

I'm also addicted to this game. It's a lot of fun. About the only thing that has stopped me from playing Gran Turismo 4 as of late.

Actually it should be about $38 at CompUSA, it's also $38 on their site.
And yes I enjoy this game very much.
