Does it include the lost episode where Pee Wee goes to the "Movies"?
J/k deal looks great. Was there an official price drop or sumthin?

I paid ~$70 for the pair of these back before last Christmas. Definitely a great pirce, as you get 10 discs worth of stuff, including some apparently unaired episodes. The one thing that I didn't like was that there was no bonus material at all, but for $40, you really can't go wrong.

It was funny and all but I can't ever see myself in a million years thinking, "Gee, you know what? Watching some Pee-Wee's Playhouse would kick so much ass right about now." Nice deal but I'll pass.

Crap.
I watched this show all the time when I was a kid.
I even have some old toys.

jav - I saw a few eps and think its funnier now than it was when I was a kid. They snuck in some downright DIRTY jokes in there that I didn't understand back then, now they are awesome. That explains why my mom woke up to watch it and laughed just as much as i did.

I've heard that Rubens wants to release a collector's edition with audio commentaries in the future...
I would definitely pick these up, but if this is true, I'll wait for the ones with the special features.

Dirty indeed... I mean, you had Captain Carl, played by Phil Hartman and Lawrence Fishburne as Cowboy Curtis, and then none other than Count Blacula himself playing The King of Cartoons!

Got these last X-mas, wish I had known it would've gotten so cheap in a few months. Yeah, It's alot better watching it now than then, and the claymation and stuff is a great throwback to the 80s.
There was never anything like it, and there hasn't been since.

I caught the review on the bottom and it indicated that your story is true. Hmm, I wonder how much more those will be though, cuz this is a pretty damn good price.

This would've been great had it not come from the horse's mouth that better sets were on the horizon. At least that's causing the price to nosedive...wonder how low it'll go.

Gotta love the play on words at work here folks... question is, when will this special edition come out? how much more will it be? and would I be better off just getting this now?
