Price range? HD MP3 player pricing may seem reasonable to some and outrageous to others. How much are you willing to spendkthx?

Compusa has one for $150 this week which is a great freaking price. Almost makes me feel silly for buying an iPod Shuffle.

Almost.

It's the RocBox:

You might wanna check out Best Buy since the iRiver 340 was on clearance there for $215 a few months ago.

You aren't refering to the rocbox are you?

Thats a monochrome device... I already have a 20 gig mono...

That is sorta dying...

I'm looking for a color mp3 player... unless you were refering to another model?

I have the the older iHP-140 which basically only has a black and white screen, but basically the same as the iHP-340. I think it's the best player out there (yes loads better than the iPoo). It has more fetaures and cost's less and is about the same size as the iPoo. It also has a good equalizer with good sounding bass.

Well anyway here some the features if the iHP-320 (20 gig) and iHP-340 (40 gig):
Display:Large, vivid color display
Interface: USB 2.0 (driverless, shows up as a mass storage device/as a big a$$ hard drive, no drivers needed in winME and winXP)
File Support:MP3, WMA, ASF, WAV, and OGG (my favorite) music files and JPEG and BMP image files
Power Supply: DC 5.0V, 2A AC Adapter
Battery:Rechargeable Lithium Polymer battery, lasts up to 16 hours
Other Features: FM Tuner, Voice Recorder (w/ built-in Mic), Line/Mic In, Line out

iHP-320 - $289 + $5.99 S&H @ Newegg (great store): http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=55-150-033&depa=0
iHP-340 - $379.99 + $4.99 S&H @ Newwegg: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=55-150-034&depa=0

Or if you have money, you can get the PMP-120 Portable Audio/Video Media Player.
PMP-120 - $432 + $4.99 S&H @ Newegg: http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=55-150-030&depa=0

These personal media players, that play big movies and mp3s, do they show the album covers while you're playing an mp3 (If you load the album cover, of course), luike the photo versions?
