I'm looking for a deal on a Gamecube component cable. I know that you can only get 1st-party cables, but the're $29.99 on nintendo.com . Anyone know where I can find them cheaper. Thanks.

Sorry, they're only only sold directly from Nintendo. Good luck trying to find a used set. It will be difficult.

Make sure your GC supports the use of component wires.

I really wish Mad Catz produced their own Component cables, but I assume now with Nintendo dropping them from newer systems, it won't be happening.

nintendo.com is the way to go. You will be happy once you have them though. Most of the first party games support 480p. You can find out which games support what at the link in my sig below:

Hard to find, but totally worth it. I bought the Japanese cables from ncsx or some similar importer when the Gamecube launched so I wouldn't have to wait months for the Nintendo store to start selling them (they weren't right at launch).
