I want to capture video from my vcr into my computer. I have a sony vaio with giga pocket and I can't get it to work :x . Can anyone help?

I'm using the red,white, and yellow cables to connect to the computer, is that a good way to connect to the computer? My computer has the outlets for it.

I have a Sony VAIO V-200 series with the Giga Pocket software. I don't see how you're not able to record footage from your VCR. Just plug in your VCR's A/V cord into the A/C inputs to the side of your VAIO (I'm assuming you have a V-series). After that, open your Giga Pocket Viewer (not Explorer) software and turn on the VCR. Under "Operation", you should see "External Output" or something to that extent. Select whatever option is there, and you should see whatever it is that's playing on your VCR on your comp's screen.
