out.
I got around 300 bucks credit at FYE and they have them for pre order. They say they will have them March 24 and this is about the only thing that i can buy that i can hope to get all my credit back if i sell it. Will there be a big enough demand for the system to resell and break even
i think you get
SYSTEM with battery pack, AC plug in, Case, Spiderman 2 movie , 32mb memory card and a game for 300 bucks. Anyone think i would be able to get the 300 + back out of this on ebay or just wait till the next gen system hit this xmas

of course youll get more on ebay. if people on ebay are willing to pay over $150 for gitaroo man then theyll be willing to pay at least $400 for the BRAND NEW SEALED LIMITED PSP VALUE PACK.

i be happy just to break even :) really dont have anything i need at FYE (was hoping to get the DS but they never carried it until i had one) and 90% of their items are overpriced. so i though this might be the last chance in 2005 to dump the credit to turn to cash and break even.
wonders
300 for system x 6% 18 bucks tax say 8% ebay fees + paypal =25.60 .... CUCH around 350 even before adding in shipping just to break even..... i might just wait till Xbox 2 hits this xmas

What does the PSP at FYE come with for $300?
Also did you already preorder it or do you have to wait till the 24 to use your store credit? Only asking cause I got some FYE credit I need to burn.

they stopped preorders on March 10 at least here. They said the game is going to be a crap game that you dont get to pick it. i probally stick it up on ebay for 340+shipping to see if it sells before picking it up. If it sells and break even or lose a little i will get it if no bids i will just cancell order

You'll probably get over $300 for it.

OK Thanks. I'll check out my local FYE to see if I can pick out my own game otherwise I guess I'll just buy a couple of PS2s with my store credit and eBay them.

if it will fetch that price, it wont more than a few minutes after launch, once people realize that there is no shortage. this is pending sony hitting their launch target.

Why don't you just keep it? It's going to be alot better than the DS.
Note: I love Nintendo so don't start being a bitch for my DS flame.

Nah, don't worry. Nintendo fans would be absolutely blind to think that the DS is better than the PSP.

I would tend to agree with this. I just received a call from EB stating that my PSP preorder will be in on the 24th. If the guy that I preordered from was correct, my PSP was going to be in the second shipment. Which means that either I got bumped up to the first shipment or that preorders weren't that abundant....maybe both.
Anyhow, I only preordered just to see if I could fleabay it, turning all the TRU deal/EB credit into cash plus a little profit. Don't want to take the chance that I'll eat some fees and deal with the hassle factor of Ebay transactions. Looks like they'll be plenty available looking at the no bids so far on Ebay. If anyone wants it locally, I'll sell it to them cost. I don't want to bother with shipping and that mess. I'm in San Jose, CA. Otherwise, I'll grab my credit and run.

Is the official Launch date 24th? My local shop is telling me the 23rd. I could bank on eBay having it a day early.
