I dont think there are any plans for m2. If you like GTA than mercenaries would be a good game because it is gta in war.

Definitely pick it up. I got it for $30 but would say that it's well worth $50.

You can use Indiana Jones and Han Salo as playable characters in the game too! That sold me on buying it for sure (when it drops around $30) even though I've never played it before.

There's a demo of Mercenaries in a recent OPSM if you wanna try it out. I still haven't gotten around to opening that issue though. Too many games!

It's enjoyable, but I just didn't get as into it as I thought I would. If felt like after 4-5 hours of play that I had done most everything substantial the game world had to offer.

I'm apparently in the minority here, but you may want to rent first.

that is really just a costume change.

True... I'm a sucker for gimmicks like that.

Ive played through the demo at least 4 times and ive done things different each time

the only thing thats keeping me from buying it is the fact that i gave up buying video games for lent (im not really religious, i just decided to do it so i can save some money and finally enjoy the games i bought)

I thought that I read somewhere that Lucasarts was considering doing a Mercenaries 2 since the sales of 1 have been very good. Most likely there will be a sequel, but let's hope that Lucasarts wisens up and does sequels for not only this but their other games like Armed and Dangerous, Secret Weapons over Normandy, and some of their classic adventure games.

I'd go for it. I've been having fun with it, especially the open-endedness of it. If you've waited this long, just wait for a drop, even though it's definately worth the money. I would love to see an M2. LucasArts puts out awesome games.

It's a great game, it's like GTA but the controls are a lot better and it's a lot more fun to ride around in a tank when the AI can actually do something to stop you.

I would get it. I've heard its excellent, and from what little I've played I would have to agree. Personally, I'm waiting for the magic $20 price before I pick it up.

It's great. The variety in which you can accomplish missions works well since you might want to play through again as the different characters to catch parts you may have missed.

The destructible environments are amazing as are the physics. Blow up a tanker and watch shrapnel hit another causing a chain reaction.

This is the type of GTA gameplay that I like. Very focused and well done.
