Sly Cooper is superb.

I just started playing this (can you say backlog?) and I am really digging it. Obviously the game is a bit too easy as I am almost finished with it but there are times where I almost die just looking at the rich enviornments and the beautiful graphics\animations.

The other great thing is this game is really fun to play. Sometimes this gets lost on modern console games but not this one. I like the little mini games that break up the levels as well as the collect all the bottles and time challenges. The game doesn't seem to get stale at all.

Definitely worth it at the current price.

I am hoping for a PSP version now.

Great thread. Glad you posted this, because on a whim I just picked up Sly Cooper from Sears for $10 this weekend. Glad I did now. :)

It's pretty fun, I got it at the EB B2G1 sale. I definitely like the cartoonish graphics and feel. It is somewhat simple/short in a way, I'm already like 42% complete after not much more than two hours. Some things I don't like about it:
I never liked 'instant death' type platforms, especially with the 'water/lava/hard-to-judge jumping level', which is where I'm stuck now. It seems like some of the 'tougher' places are tough and cheap, not tough and fair. At least you get unlimited continues.
There is a decent variety of gameplay types, and in general it is a fun game to play, and that's what it's supposed to be about, anyway.

I thought it was a decent game. I bought it for $5 at Target on clearance. I beat it in a few days, but for less than the price of a rental, I can't complain.

Sly Cooper does indeed equate to an excellent platformer, but we all know Jak II, despite being cheaply hard in some areas, is much better.

IMHO, Ratchet and Clank was a far superior (and much more entertaining) game.

got Sly 2 free from sony after my memory card got erased and was very impresed by it. Slick style. Something games should take more note of: style is a huge plus!

I just got around to playing Sly Cooper about a month or two ago. I though it was alot of fun also I even did all the time challenges which can be really hard on some of the levels IMO.
