50% off manga at FYE YMMV?

Hi, i've seen it at 2 different FYEs now, 50% off all manga. They tend to have small sections mostly ADV and Tokyopop but still a good deal. Not sure if this is YMMV, as I have seen it in stores in both Michigan and upstate New York which would suggest it is chain wide.

just manga as far as I saw. The FYE sale on mostly ADV anime is still going on though.
