I did too... It was a little vague, as I signed up and it said thank you for entering your information, etc, and I could not tell if it meant I was being considered....

I clicked on the link again and it said the beta test was not accepting registrations yet....

But, since I just signed up for it, does it mean that I will likely be accepted?

Thank you for taking part in this Battlefield Modern Combat multiplayer trial.

Please note that you are playing an ALPHA build of the game which is not yet finished. This does not represent how the finished game will look, how it will sound or how it will play. This version does not include all the features that will be available in the final game. This trial is for the purposes of testing the game to further development in the aforementioned areas. There will be significant improvement in all parts of the game. We do not expect the current play experience to be perfect and neither should you.

Hope this has some sort of multiplayer component that's NOT online.. even a 1 map deathmatch.. maybe a single player level.. as long as its not online only. I'm already super hyped! Can't wait!!!

No, It's an Alpha release. The game's not supposed to be released until this fall, so it'll probably be buggy. But that's what TESTING is for !!

i really like driving the vehicles around though.

when i first got online, i chose to be an 'assault' guy. i got in a truck and start driving up a hill and then i found myself in the middle of an enemy owned territory with like 3 guys defending it... so i hit the triangle button thinking i would jump out of the truck but instead it put me in the back of the truck and i killed the 2 guys in front of me.. then i walked into a building thinking the base was clear and killed some guy who was sniping.

then i pretty much so did nothing good the rest of the time that i was playing lol.

engineer class is really cool with the shotgun.

and if you want to dominate, learn how to use the tank. I kill so many people with that thing.

i had 2 games in a row where i got a crapload of kills but i'm not thinking my stats saved.

i looked at the stats page and somebody on there had like 80,000 and some had alot of kills also.. guessing these are part of the production team or something..

I have had a ton of 50 -60 point games that never seem to register, and really would like to get some of the things that I earned (like most points in a game 5 times or more). I know I should be in the 500 point rank.

The game only saved my stats one time for some reason, which totally sucks

I play as either vg324 or video_gamer324. The reason I have two names is because for the past couple days, the game would freeze whenever I would try to log on as vg324, but that problem seems to be fixed now. I've also noticed that all of my stats are now being saved, so they must've fixed that as well. Right now, I'm averaging about 20 points a game, which I think is pretty good especially considering the fact that I usually play a supporting role - I spend my time guarding bases and blowing up tanks, not running and gunning.

It's alright. I'm not all that good but it's nice not having to drive. The driving controls are just weird to me. Otherwise, I get my ass killed too much. I should be able to get on some more this weekend, hopefully we can get some more CAG's and team up.

I am only used to it because I know how they controlled in 1942, and after a while it becomes second nature. The tank is usually really easy to control, but one some of the less advanced maps it is a bitch because of all the problems within the game. I know on BridgeTooFar I can easily get a 50 or higher because that map is pretty much donw.

and yea just bump this if you want to play. I got to write two research papers this weekend, but I do not plan on doing anything else besides that, so I would be open to playing some

I had a blast on it. I hope they have more then 24 players in the final build, specifically for the next gen xbox

24 people is actually perfect for the maps they have in the game. Any more and the game would seem over crowded and people would die too much.

Though personally I still thought the UYA was the best beta I was in as far as gameplay, I have to give it up to EA for doing an outstanding job of giving us a ton of maps to play and showing that this is a killer app.
