I just need some info on how the I-LINK works and what games are compatible

It was the first way to link PS2s together. Gran Turismo 3 for sure to work with it.

well i was wondering if you can play online with your friends can you also play with them through an i-link....thanx for the info

Sony dumped the I-link in favor of Lan via the modem. I-link is just for people who can get more than one PS2 in the same room with multiple tvs.

Other i-link games besides GT3 are: Lethal Skies 2, Armored Core 2 and 3, Time Crisis 2, Vampire night, Time Spliters 2, ATV2, Unreal Tournement, Silent scope 2, and Ghost Recon.

Doubtful, Sony dumped it mostly because few publishers were bothering to use it. With the modem people would hook up with people online quicker than they would drag their PS2 to a friends house.

How exactly does it work? Do you get a specific cord for it and just network the PS2's together?
