I have this sitting on my shelf and I'm not sure if I should crack it open.
I read some mediocre reviews, but how do you guys like this game.
Worth the time investment?

I loved Wrath of Heaven (the first one on PS2). This one is a step backwards in nearly all respects. I was really disappointed by it. My review of it is here: http://ps2.gamespy.com/playstation-2/tenchu-kurenai/588004p1.html

Thanks man, nice review. I might put off playing it for a little bit.

I haven't played the final version, but from the demo it's pretty weak.

being a huge tenchu fan as I am... this game offer nuthin new beside for the SEX appeal of the 2 females.

I'll be holding up until a XBOX release for better graphic.

If you're a fan of the previous Tenchu games then you'll enjoy it. The double SKs are fun to pull off and IMO the enemies are more intelligent than before, making the game somewhat more difficult at first. Otherwise, there's really nothing new to interest those not familiar with the series.
