Sony doing the special uber limited hard to find Coca Cola classic edition PSP

Well I guess they are going to do what Nintendo's been doing for a while and start releasing multiple CE/SE/SLE/whatever of a system. At least this one sounds kind of cool looking even though there aren't any pics. I'm kind of sad that we won't be seeing this one here in America.

In an unrelated note, has anyone else seen teh Coca Cola edition of Gamegear from back in the dya. I think it too was a Japanese only release.

The second link you provided shows a pic of the actual Coca-Cola PSP. It is just a PSP with the Coca-Cola logo on the bottom right hand side. Coke said this was the first big prize they have done that wasn't red and that the only room for the logo was on the bottom right since the thing is littered with buttons.

I don't know why they could not do it in red. Hell, they spent all that time adding that Coca-Cola stuff to the actual game. How hard could it be to use red plastic instead of black? I remember all the different colored PSP systems at E3 and they looked wicked.

It would make a lot more sense to have the characters drinking a Budweiser (or any other beer) after making a putt. I can't remember the last time I was golfing and quenched my thirst with a Coke, Pepsi, water, etc.
Also, they could add a hottie driving a beer cart around in the background.

I know it's IN japan, If you read my post it says I am GOING to Japan at the end of the month. However I'm a resident of the USA hence my inquiry -_-...

The presumption is that the contest is open to anyone IN japan during the period of the contest so if you're there long enough to collect the items you need, send them in and wait to select winner you probably can enter, if you;re going to go there for a week and dont understand a wrod of japanese you're SOL.

Monetary rewards are usualy restricted to residents.

What we can't HEAR in the game, is that all sound effects have been replaced by a high pitched Japanese girl saying "KOKA KOORA!"...just in case you have the audacity to think about ANYTHING other that Coca Cola while playing.
