Seems like a good deal for those wants to trade in old or crappy games which normally go from $.5 - $5... The extra $10 really helps.

mannnnnn i JUST sold back 3 games to gamestop a week ago =( i had missed the EB extra $10 and was kind of disappointed but now gamestop is doing it AFTER i got rid of the games i didnt want. =(
i only got $3.25 from the 3 games i sold =(

It's OK if you don't have a Gamerush near you.
But Gamerush gives +$15 for three PS2/GCN/XBOX games.
trade any games right?
No sports/wrestling/demo disks.
Everything else is good to go.

Is this for all stores. Gamestops around my area usually don't have the same deals running - like one store had B2G1 and another which was at a different mall but just a few blocks away didn't have the same deal.
no webpage for store promos like EB.

I just got back from trading a bunch of games in.
Here's what I traded in.
(2) Primal
Spiderman 2
1080 Avalanche
Home Run King
Time Splitters 2
Legend of Zelda: Windwaker
Hunter: The Reckoning
Deus Ex: Invisible War
With the extra $10 credit per three games, I ended up with $67.06.
Again, they will take ANY GAME for PS2, Xbox, or Gamecube that is NOT a sports game or a DEMO. And yes, exhibition disks and jam packs are DEMOS so they are excluded, at least at the Gamestops around me. Sports games are WRESTLING, FOOTBALL, BASEBALL, BASKETBALL and HOCKEY. None of those qualify.
I traded in :
Soul Calibur 2 (Xbox) - $11.34
Whiplash (Xbox) - $10.34
Quantum Redshift (Xbox) - $4.34
Alter Echo (Xbox) - $5.34
Serious Sam (Xbox) - $6.34
Jet Set Radio (Xbox) - $6.34
Got just over $40 in credit for it.
Took advantage of Gamestop's "Buy 2 used get 1 free" deal going on and got :
Katamari Damacy
JAK 2
Tron 2.0 Killer App
And had almost $4 left, so I picked up Virtua Fighter 4 as well. Total cost to me was $3.23. Excellent deal.
Just a warning though - if your disks aren't in fairly good condition (2 of my games were refinished), they will charge you a $1.50 fee which they will take off the credit they're giving you. Only 1 of my games (Quantum Redshift) had to get the charge applied to it. Again, they'll accept any game, but if they think they're going to have to do some work on the disk, its going to take away $1.50 from your credit.

My Gamestop told me they'd take any of this year's sport's titles.
But then again, they took my Home Run King. The reason being, I bet, is that it doesn't have a year in the title.

BASTARD. the dude at my GS said that the b2g1 free is not going on any longer. i did manage to take advantage of te trade in 3 get 10 extra. uhm bombastic, rogue squadron, oni, gungriffon, eternal darkness, and armored core 2... i got 33.xx which i used to buy shadow hearts and guilty gear x.. which ended up not working. damn today sucked.
