Yeah, it's totally worth the import imo. I feel it's the best game out for the system. I'm hearing a huge buzz though on wipeout so I have to see game wise which is better. You'll be totally fine if you import it. There's a bunch of Japanese but I can help you out if you need. plus, I saw a good FAQ on that amazing site known as Gamefaqs ( :roll:). But yeah, if you want to import it, go for it. You'll love the game. I'll make sure to join the psp forums later today to answer questions. :)

The Wal-Mart in my area started selling PSP games and the PSP on Thursday. They had WipeOut, Untold Legends, Need for Speed, some EA sports game and something else I can't remeber.

No Pics because I don't want a PSP right now because I don't trust Sony to buy 1st gen systems and I don't want any of those games.

Someone mentioned, and I wanted to help here: The launch dates listed on EB's site reflects when they'll have enough open inventory to sell again. They are sold through until then. Good thing they allow pre-orders, right? MGS:A, Ridge RAcers, Untold Legneds, and NFS:U are highly allocated, with a large portion of each being sold through. Same thing with the SanDisk 1G and 512 cards there. Also grabbed my THUG2 on top of Wipeout from yesterday, but not going to bother with pics. I'll save than until I also have: Untold Legends, Lumines, MGS:A, Ridge Racer, 1G stick, and Dark City running on my PSP

I ended up picking up wipeout last night and gave it a spin. The game is pretty good. I don't feel it's as good as the reviews said though. Maybe it's just me, maybe on the really hard dififculties it's awesome but I found the first two difficulties slow.

I could have bought some, but I don't see why I should when I can wait until Thursday (when I can actually PLAY them!) and get them somewhere cheaper. Like BB has those "buy 2 get a $10 GC" and buy 3 get a $20 GC" deals going, and FYE has that rebate deal coming up.

Now, if you already imported a Psp, then I can understand...but otherwise, why buy them now?

If you didnt reserve games, you can buy them now to make sure you can actually get them for launch . I reserved a bunch of games, but forgot about Dark Stalkers so i picked it up at a EB yesterday. During the DS launch a lot of games (not mario ds) sold out very qucikly and were hard to get for a few weeks

SHeesh. Take it easy buddy! I posed a question (and suggested some alternatives to save CAGs some money if they are willing to wait), and recieved a reasonable answer; I even conceded that the reply to my post was a good point. In fact, I may go back to EB to buy a game or two myself.

I think the cases are terribly designed. On a shelf with other DVDs and games, they will sit in a recess. The cases should have been designed to be just as wide as a regular case, but only half as tall. That way, while they would take the same amount of shelf width-space, you could stack them one atop the other. Or lay them on their backs and take up even less room.

Like Jake mentioned, it's a shame they didn't add in a slot to put a memory stick.

Heck, the N-Gage cases come with a separate, smaller case inside the regular case that fits up to six games, and there are two permanent slots to fit two more games. Seven games in one case is pretty handy. Oh shoot, there I go fanboying again. Sorry.

I think the idea was that they;d fit into the regular dvd storage cases, the recessed design making them stand out form the normal cases. Plus big boxes stand out on the game store shelf easier.

If you pick up: Ridge Racers, Wipeout, and any other game at launch that fits your prefrence (I picked up Twisted Metal and NBA :)) YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Plus, if you have a 512mb-1 gig stick you dont need a slot for your memory sticks in the PSP cases :).

Also if anyone is looking for a nice case, I would recommend one of these:
