We are trying to stop those damned dirty critical errors that have been happening so frequently...thanks for your patience.
We just made some changes that hopefully will fix the problem.
Kindly let us know (in this thread) any errors or issues that spring up that may be database related.

Nothing major in terms of functionality, just switching some stuff around and doing some (search engine friendly) cleanup.
You'll notice that that the last post icons will be swapped out for a text link with the date/time of the last post. Right now, i've only made a few changes to the index, but more will follow.

The way it is now only lets you go to the first 3 pages and the last 3 pages, and then 1 page at a time. Like if I wanted to go directly to page 50 in that thread. Sorry if it's confusing.

i dont think there is an easy fix for that, but I will take a look. Advanced users can use this format to make their lives easier.
"start" is the number of the post you want to start with.

I agree. That is something that is desperately needed and should be included in every forum. The other day I was searching for something, but had to suffer through page after page instead of easily getting to page X that I wanted to see.
Frankly the way it is now doesn't make sense. Why would we be interested in only the first and last few pages - especially in a search??

I miss being able to click on someones profile from the forum and no last-post button and its only been 5 minutes. :( I'm not to happy with the changes, but if it makes the site run better its worth it.

I was trying to replicate the error to get you the error message, but could not get the error to replicate.

I personally like the large number at the bottom where it shows what page of a topic you are on.

This has been like 4 months running for me. I need to try deleting my cookies and seeing if that fixes it, but I hate doing that.

I was having the same problem, but as soon as I deleted my cookies it worked again. It is a pain though having to re-enter all your info for every site you visit regularly.

All the posts are messed up. For example the first five topics in the OT have last posts from around noon, and the newer ones are under those. I tried posting in another thread and it showed a post time of like 1230 (and its 440 now).
Edit: It did it with this post too! It is actually 440 right now and my post should've come after cdeener's, but yet it inserted it before Punq's. I'm so confused!
I can't post in the forums under my regular name! (I hope you know who this is! ;) )

Something similar to this happened to my post in the Gamerush thread. The time was off and it ended up about tem post up instead of being last. :shock:
