I was in yesterday to pick up God of War, and while I was there, the clerk asked me if I'd played "Dead to Rights" yet. I admitted that I hadn't. He then handed me a free copy of the game (Platinum Hits Version). He said that they had been given a bunch of copies to give away along with purchases of Breakdown during a promotion some time ago. They didn't sell enough copies to go through the stock of freebies, so he said they were giving away the ones they had stored away to plug the upcoming Dead to Rights 2 and try to get some preorders. I wasn't interested in a preorder of that game, but it didn't seem to affect the outcome at all. Free game for me!

A free game is always nice, even if it's an average game.

Nice. Dead to Rights is a great game. I was there one time when the Asst. Manager was trading in his XBox and had a disc only copy of Kakuto Chojin. I already had it, but since he offered, I said sure. Apparently, it's not in GC's system.

Dead To Rights is really fun but a bit easy. You'll enjoy it regardless, especially since it was for free.

That is a sweet deal especially because Dead to Rights 1 is so cheap that they should be giving it away. It is a decent Third-Person Shooter so I say "Good for You my Friend, Very good for you indeed."

You should have taken it, left the store, untucked your shirt, gone back in and tried to trade it in. You could claim that it was't you that was just in there and that you have no idea what he's talking about.

I think I did get my copy free with Breakdown from ebgames.com a loooong time ago.

Unfortunately my game queue is not FIFO and I think this one may starve ;)

That's probably cause it was recalled, as soon as that was announced, most stores removed it from their database. So if anyone has that game, don't bother trying to trade it in.

Free games are good...except when it comes to games like Drake.
