Allright, heres the story if you care.
I'm getting financial aid and child support at the moment, and this requires me to be attending college fulltime (12 credits or more where i go). I have 3 classes picked, and i need one more to get me a couple credits.

I dont have a major picked, but im leaning toward something business related. Dont want to take any math this term, it kicked my ass last time.

Ive been looking for a class all day (besides when i picked up a PSP) and i need to get this done tonight since classes start up tomorrow.

Any suggestions? Or is this just a dumb/bored idea? I seriously have no idea what to take, and am actually considering dropping out this term and just working more.

:? That's kind of vague, since different colleges offer different courses. Are you a freshman? What are some of the classes to choose from? Have you went to see your academic advisor, as they are the best person to talk to about your classes...

If we knew some more it may help...like are you a feashamn? Also, what college do you go to?

Generlly try to find a course that could be fun and less time consuming, but make sure it will count towards you graduating credits, otherwise it's basically a waste of your time.

That seems like a waste of money to take classes just so you don't have to pay for financial aid right now. So, you're getting MORE debt so you can postpone it for another 4 months?

Yah, its vague, i know. Im a freshman at a community college.
Dont have any loans out, its all grants.

This isnt meant to be too serious, just trying to get a decent suggestion or an idea. Somewhere to get me started.

psychology is always a good class 2 take...do u have ne languages? those are pretty nifty also..if ur leaning towards business..then something business-y without math is good :) i read business law up there, very good idea

Basic science classes like Biology and Chemistry w/ labs are required for most majors. So you might as well take those to get them out of the way. Also you have to take a college level English writing class, so you can consider that. History, sociology, psychology, philosophy, anthropology, and art history are other relatively common general ed classes that you might have to take no matter what your major is. Just don't take useless classes like Intro to Internet or Human Sexuality for kicks, you'll just waste your time.

Business law was a good suggestion, you may wanna check if the course is gonna have a lot of research papers and such, that can be a tad overwhelming the first year.

My suggestion is maybe an intro to marketing or intro to mamangment course...What you'll learn is basic and can be valuable for future business classes. Plus most of what they'll likely teach you is more or less common sense.

Go with the math class. You're going to have to take it anyways, just try to actually pay attention in class this time.

I agree. Also, don't be afraid to sign up for more classes than you want to take. Go to a single class of each for the first week or so and see if you will like it. Most colleges have an add/drop grace period, so use it.
