So I head to one of my unviversities we have several new and old school arcade games here to name some Tekken 5, initial D v.3, time crisis 3. I line up to play and notice some guys on the tekken 5 machine. Funny thing was they never went to the change machine and the 9 credits was still there everytime they hit the continue screen so I knew something was funny. The guy working didn't notice anything either. I guess it was the stringing method where you tie a string to the token and some tape. I noticed everytime the continue screen came up they pretended to deposit some tokens and leaned over when nothing were in their hands lol. Something funny I just researched on the stringing method btw.

I saw a guy jam a flat-head screwdrive in the coin slot and that gave him a credit each time. Wonder if that still works?

there was an old busted wwf wrestlefest at this bowling alley i hung out at when i was a kid.

you could lift the joystick board up just enough to squeeze your hand inside the board, there was a button in there and every time you pushed it, that was 1 credit, needless to say i played that game alot.

A friend of mine (several, actually, at various points) have said that they took nickels and placed them on a rail road track and waited for a train to run over them. Pop this newly flattened coin into a machine and they claimed that they would get a credit and also get their coin back, but it would (obviously) only work in machines that took quarters.

Personally, I never bought it, since there was never an arcade around my area that took quarters, so I don't know how they would have tested it. Anyone else ever hear, try, or can confirm this method?

never heard of the train/nickel trick, but I have taken apart an arcade board or two to get to that lil button :) mortal kombat 3/Ultimate was one of them, I played that game for hours/days/weeks
