Not really. There is a poor communication system set up, and the loading times are horrendous, even with a HD. May be worth $10 though, but I'd say wait for the $5 clearances that are bound to come late this summer.

Okay I'll pass. It should be pointed out that there's a ten dollar Capcom rebate if you buy this and then buy Outbreak 2 within a few months of release.
Also there is a $5 pricegrabb er rebate. So if you buy this and outbreak 2 you could save $15.
And you get a compass. :)
Edit: I just changed my mind after checking the trade in price on Wherehouse.com. Worst case I trade it or sell it and get double my money back.

Outbreak is now OOS; Maximo, Neo Contra, and Siren are down to less than a 100 copies each.

Just checked my local EB. Prices are NOT the same in stores.

poor communication? There's NO communication, unless you count hand signals! If you have a PC nearby and players who know what they're doing, you can DL Roger Wilco and talk via headset on PC while playing it on PS2, works out good.. Outbreak 2, which comes out soon, did very little to fix this problem.. there's still no communication between players (which is a HUGE PROBLEM!!!) aside from like 10 default commands ("Over here!" "Follow me!").. Outbreak is DEFINATELY worth 10 if you have good teammates.. I recall playing with a group of close friends, one was bitten and was fading fast, I ended up helping him around.. it's fun, but as said above, loading times are bad, usually 10 seconds between rooms.. the HD knocks it down to 4 or 5 seconds, which is still pretty bad.

Ahhh! Crap. Are any of these games worth buying? =/ I'm so short on money and I've been waiting forever for a price drop on half of those.
Edit: Are these prices valid in store? My local EB has all the games I'm looking at in stock, and I'd rather get them there. =/ 90~ copies left of most of those games, by the way.

Is it worth 10 dollars?! Absolutely, easily. The game is super fun. The communication bit is a bit over done. You can communicate with players simply but you can.

Compared to most PSP games, 10 secs is far from bad ;)
Great game absolutely loved it. Yeah, it had it's cons but if you're a RE nut (like me) you'll go apeshit over it, especially the first and second stage (it's ashame the other 3 couldn't have been more like them).
