I figured why not let the CAG be a site of education.

heres part of the defintion:

These bumps usually show up after 4 - 5 days after contact with an infected person. The bumps eventually rupture and form painful, soft, crater like ulcers that emit a foul-smelling discharge.

What an odd and disturbing topic this is. In any case, I believe I'll go with...chancroid as the answer.

You got it. Now its your responsibility to add another definition so we can all guess. I am sure where you found the answer you can get another def.

It is odd and makes you curious at the same time.

Alright, alright. This little fellow:
-can infect through mucous membranes or wounds in the skin
-travels through the blood stream and damages a wide variety of organs
-can cause hair loss
-transmits via oral, vaginal or anal sex or from mother to child
-is asymptomatic in it's most destructive phase

Uh, I don't know much about these things. But this seems like the most popular, is it AIDS?

umm challenging? I was referring to your off the wall comments, I don't believe it was a challenge. But if you want, I'll take my gloves off. I'm not really concerned about you being "regular", you registered like a week before me, you just post more. I don't need to make 20 inane posts a day before I can challenge anyone. So don't take offense ok, it was a lighthearted.

OK here we go.
This STD is:
the most frequently reported bacterial sexually transmitted infection in the United States

transmitted during vaginal, anal, or oral sex

is known as a “silent” disease because about three quarters of infected women and about half of infected men have no symptoms. If symptoms do occur, they usually appear within 1 to 3 weeks after exposure.

Ok, I would post one, but I will be out of town this weekend with no internet access. So someone has to take my slot. I don't care who, the first person to post gets it. Good luck all.
