your thought? does this look like its ntsc? i've honestly never seen this before so it definately intrigues me.

Yeah, it's ntsc... will it play on an american console without freeloader or modchip, no.

I'm thinking that is a Japanese copy of the game. I don't think its been released over here. He may be wrong about it being NTSC, but who knows?

Well, both US/Canada and Japan/Asia are NTSC regions; this is why importers don't have problems displaying import games on their television.

PAL (Europe, perhaps elsewhere) is a wholly different video format; some of them will play easily on NTSC television sets (EU DC Shenmue II, for instance); others won't work for shit (I tried importing a GC PAL game, and the video was black and white, and rolled upscreen - think those old cable adult shows you watched the scrambled versions of).

So, to answer your question, yes, it is NTSC. No, it won't work on a US console without a freeloader, though.

Exactly. I don't understand how easily people get region coding and PAL and NTSC mixed up...
