As nice as Fallout 3 is, that's not why I'm happy.
This has given me hope that maybe, just maybe, Sam and Max: Freelance Police will be able to rise from the dead too. That would be great... :D

That reminds me, I need to play fallout 1 and 2. I have them sitting there waiting to be played.

I have never finished Fallout 2. I always get to a point after the mutant town and stop for some reason.

What are these Fallout games like and where can I get em on the cheap?

They're post apocalyptic RPGs. There's a dual pack with 1 and 2 that, if you can find new, should cost $9.99. Amazon only has used copies, but they're right around that price.

Wal-Mart had a bunch of the two-packs brand new for $10. Great RPGs, more mature than most console RPGs.

The double packs are a great deal, but the originals are nice because they come with a thick, beefy, spiral bound manual. They contain neat information about atomic energy, recipes, etc. Just a note in case you find the original boxed games on an auction or at a used game store or some such.

You're probably not going to find it now, but Target had the double pack for $2.50 last summer.
It's been said, but try Amazon and eBay.
