Arakias - I need as much money as possible due to the fact that my PS2 just got DRE and I can't send it back to sony for a refurb because mine has been opened.

Soulwish2003 - No, This is not an april fools joke

....

This game wasn't even $50 when it came out.

I think I'm going to be sick.

And $6 for first class mail - that's just milking a milked-out cow. The envelope better be bling'd out with diamonds and platinum for that price.

No CAG discount then why post it here.

m0rningbreakfast - Like I said before, I am desperate for cash, $6 for shipping includes insurance, yes i know it wasn't 50 when it came out, but there are alot of things that are worth more now then when they were released for instance, Suikoden 2. I think 49 is a reasonable start for an auction when the game is rare

You know that you need to rethink your strategy when your "deal" is thought to be an April fools joke.

Seriously. This site is CHEAPAssGamer, not DumbAssGamer.

Is that an April Fools joke?

Would you guys rather buy this one starting at $95.99 (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=62053&item=8182697103&rd=1&ssPageName=WDVW)?

Or what about these that ended with a "Buy It Now" at $95? Sold by the one and only Red Octane.

It's amazing how one person starts to whine and everyone else jumps in like sheep.

Next week they'll all be demanding a blowjob if you post an auction link. Get your lips ready guys!

Wow, At least one person doesn't think i'm an @$$hole for starting the auction at $49, and for that I salute you

I think the starting price (and buy it now) was reasonable. It was selling for over $100 used a few months ago (the value seems to go up and down).

I think it's really messed up of Red Octane to do that, since they are a distributor of DDR games, I know it's their right to sell games for whatever price they want but I see it as the same thing as Gamestop or EB selling it for that price which I'm sure people would complain about.

Then again, it is Red Octane, the company that is home to the ripoff dance pads.

stop the thread crapping everyone.

If you do not know the value of the game you are the DUMBASS and not the person posting the auction

The price doesn't bother me. I could've BIN. The shipping cost is. $6 with insurance for PS1 game is a rape.

YoshiFan1

I don't think the shipping is that overpriced. Postage on a PS1 game 1st class is $1.29, delivery confirmation is $0.55, Insurance is $2.20 (since it will most likely go over $49.00 so the up to $50 insurance for $1.30 won't work). So that's a cost of $4.04 not including the cost of anything like a bubble envelope.

Also, not related to anything else posted in the thread but after looking at the auction, EBay's description (the one not given by the seller), is really messed up. EBay is calling it Disney's Rave, the import version and they say Surfin USA is in the game yet it's only in the arcade and Japanese PS1 versions.

I've seen this game go for over $100 on eBay. It's surprisingly really rare.

Everyone made fun of me when I bought it (had to have every DDR game out for my collection) after it came out. Now who's laughing, lol.

I did the same thing, I bought it for $35 when it first came out (was tired of DDR USA at the time and that was before I could play imports so that was the only other DDR game I could get) and I'm also trying to get every DDR game made (up to 21 games right now). I also just picked up the import a few weeks ago since it has a different song list.

I think it's rare because it came out before DDR really got popular in the US so most people didn't buy and only found out about it after it was discontiuned.

Starting this auction at 49 bucks is not a bad thing (though you COULD have started it lower, paid a lower listing fee, and STILL have the price shoot up quickly)

Amazed at how much it goes for... makes me want to keep my mint copy for a while longer

... amazing thing is... it is probably the WORST DDR game out there
