Hello, I am a CheapAssGamer (love it here) but I have some games I want to sell. I buy things on Ebay. But I never sold anything on Ebay. I don't know how.
Especially the shipping. I don't know how much I should charge for shipping and what kind of shipping & packaging it will be. I'm a n00b at many things basically. :)
I want to sell the following Xbox games:
GTA Double Pack
Crimson Skies
Mech Assault 1
Dead to Rights
Full Spectrum Warrior
Splinter Cell 1
007 Agent Under Fire
Medal of Honor Front Line
NCAA Football 2003
State of Emergency
All Star Baseball 2003
Morrowind
Unreal Championship
Road Kill
Lord the the Rings (The Two Towers I think)
Shenmue 2.
I think that's about it. By the way, about half of those games do not have game cases.
How much should I start the bid?
Please help me. Thanks!

Without game cases you'll get next to nothing. Shipping a game is usually first class which runs about 2 bucks, since you probably have no packaging then add another 1.50 to that for padded envelopes from a grocery store or something. So 3.50 to ship, as for starting bids look at completed auctions for each one and go from there.

Ship everything as first class with delivery confirmation and chage $4.50 to cover it.

You can get free boxes from the post office that regular games will fit in. Then you mail them priority mail. It cost 3.85 plus 40 cents for delivery conf. If you mail anything less than priority alot of people become impatient and email you every day.

If not possible, at least provide clear, accurate, and honest descriptions of the games. Try grading disc condition on a 1 - 10 scale. 10 being absolutely MINT/New and so on.

If you have a paypal account, you can print mailing labels online. You get free delivery confirmation (saves your 45 cents) that way, and it emails your buyer the tracking number automatically.

Thanks everyone.
I can provide pics. :)
Also, GTA Double Pack is in great condition. I haven't played it as much. It has the game case and everything (I think one poster is missing because I put it in my room). I don't care how much I get for it. If I get $25 that'd be great.

$25 would be great considering it was selling for $19.99 NEW a few months back @CC.

If I were you, check to see if those game you want to get rid of are EB POX. if they're not POX, go to eb and trade it in for PSP GAME, and maybe, return it back for store credit or sell it here/ebay for more money. Aye, that is what I did a few days ago. My friend gave me 7 sucky game w/o manual (5 of them were not EB POX), and I add some of my sucky game w/o manual, and trade it for 3 PSP GAMES, then sold them for $100 on ebay.

^the thing is I don't think EB will accept games without game cases. :(
I'll give it a try though. And yes, I'm also doing that trade 3 for PSP games. :)
I ship my stuff 1st class, but give the buyer the option of priority. If they are going to the West Coast (I'm on the East) Priority might be 1 day faster, but 1st class is easily fast enough IMO. I also generally ship within 24 hours of being paid (I print my labels like SOS suggests, so that makes it a lot easier to ship daily) and that obviously helps tremendously with getting the stuff to the buyer quickly. I figure my stuff usually gets to the buyer around the time the average eBay seller will be shipping it out.
It's when you ship stuff Media Mail that you start getting a lot of questions/complaints from buyers in my experience. I only make Media Mail an option when I'm selling books or a bunch of games/ PC Games that will top a pound. And I always give a faster (more expensive) method as an option. Coast to Coast Media Mail can take a week and a half. Don't even know how long it would take East Coast to Hawaii, probably REALLLY long.
So for the OP, I would say you already have some good suggestions here. Zion's $4.50 for 1st class is good, you could make it less if you want to be generous. Definitely ship in bubble mailers, you don't want to deal with a mashed up or broken disc in shipping... And even if the game gets there in perfect shape some buyers will be POed to see their game arrive in a plain mailer with no padding.
If you really want them to sell, start the bid at a penny and let it go. (Though that gives you the risk of getting less than you might want, obviously.)
