Ok, I admit it, I was a big Knight Rider fan back in the day.
Amazon just announced that the Season 1 DVD (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/ASIN/B00005JLG4/cheapassgam08-20) is now available for pre-order.
They have been rerunning these on the SciFi Channel recently, so I definitely don't need to order this, but I was wondering who else used to love this 80s classic.

Yeah, that some weak shit right there. Keep that out of this house.

I used to love Knight Rider.
What about the helicopter show Airwolf? Night Hawk was that the name of the motorcycle show?
Am I the only one who remembers Automan? Man, I wish they'd release a DVD set for it. It's only 12 episodes...

For knowing that you are eternally branding as a douche bag. This will stay embedded in my mind even if you find the cure for cancer, I'll be the cat in the back goin' "Yeah but he knew that KITT was on some MTV show"

Remember when they tried to bring back Knight Rider? It was Knight Rider 2000 or something stupid like that. They transplanted the KITT computer into a new car. That movie blew.

JimmieMac,
I came across this info on another website.
"I have to let you know it wasnt MTV it was some ABC, NBC, Fox or something variety show that they did together. My wife was watching it. Although when they brought KITT out it didnt really look like KITT to me it was an imposter." --Anonymous Douchebag 2
Its amazing what you find on the net now a days.!!
Of course there are girls on the internet you idiot, wasn't there a girl gamer post a while back?? And I'm glad you admit that you're a douche bag in every case
They are planning a big screen Knight Rider movie at Revolution Studios. Look for it to suck as they are trying to cater to the Fast & Furious and XXX crowd since those were also Revolution Studios films. The Hasselhoff said he would be taking over the Devon Miles role as head of the Knight Foundation and his son would be driving the new KITT car around. Funny thing is The Hasselhoff wants Ben Affleck to play his son in the movie.

I remember going to Universal Studios in LA as a kid and actually getting to talk to K.I.T.T. That was awesome. I had this really cool question all lined up to ask him. When I finally got to sit in the car the sheer awe of the experience made me forget. So instead I asked if he could turbo boost off of the platform we were on (it was surrounded by water on three sides.) He said his turbo boost had been disabled for safety reasons but instead he turned his engine on and revved it. :D I was a happy boy that day.
