So I graduate college in Dec. but my Fiancee graduates in May so were moving from Orlando, back home to Daytona... we started packing up all our stuff.
Here's where I get to the actual video game discussion. I have too many... i'm not selling them, what I am going to complain about is moving the stupid things. I have like so many freaking games, I filled up two of those 36 gallon tubs with em. They weigh to much and I can't play em while there being held in storage. So it sucks all around.
But moving does suck, heavy furniture, blah blah blah.
Thanks for listening.

why didn't you just keep one or two games out?

the good thing is that yoiu are getting away from orlando. Probably the most depressing city in florida ever.

Moving everything you own (especially from one state to another) is a tremendous hassle and expense in terms of both time and money. I guess if you're getting out of school, that's one thing, but I woudn't make a habit of moving from place to place after that unless you're one of those people that enjoys packing and moving (and traveling light).

I would just keep out my DS and pack all the other stuff. THat way I could catch up on GBA games and play some others as well.
modium, I love your sig. Against Me is one of my favorite bands :).

Next time I move I'm going to just leave everything I have behind and start over. It's not worth lugging everything to a new place.

I worked in the library in college and one summer they had to move the whole damn thing to another building. They actually hired a professional library moving company (Who knew?) to do it. What they did is a rather obvious, but effective, method where they pulled everything down in order, packed them in boxes in order, and then numbered the boxes in order. I suppose if your game collection was large enough you could use the same strategy...it would make unpacking a whole lot easier for sure.
