Also, I saw that Terminator: Dawn of Fate was priced at $12.99, and Terminator 3 was $9.99. All Xbox games. There were also an assload of games marked for clearance at $14.99 and under. PS2 didn't have many for less than $19.99. GCN had maybe one, most of the GCN clearance titles were complete crap.

They had many copies of the clearance titles at EB in Magnolia Mall, Florence, SC as of noon today.

I think Smashing Drive is very under rated and is definetly worth $3. It got bad reviews because it's a port of a short arcade game and it seems like most arcade ports don't get reviewed well unless they have tons of extras. As an arcade fan, I thought it was a lot of fun to play.

Lots of 2003 sports titles marked down. I looked over the GameCube clearance rack and they might have had ONE game under $19.99. Everything else was $19.99. I think some stuff marked clearance might have $24.99 on GCN. Stick with PS2 and Xbox.

Chances are the price tags were wrong. Some EB stores aren't as quick to change price tags on the game cases. I have noticed quite a few times when other people post EB deals on this board and my local EB has the game but it is tagged for more, it still scans at the correct lower price.

I picked up WSB 2K3. It had a sticker of $9.99 but I asked the guy to scan it and it rang up $2.99. None of the games listed were marked at the sales price but I imagine they all wouold ring up correctly. Going back for Moto GP tomorrow

Went to my local EB to pick up World Series Baseball 2K3 for $2.99. OOS. Went to my other EB and grabbed the last copy. The clerk asked me if I would like to purchase the preowned copy and save some money. I told her, the new copy was cheaper. She looked, gasped, and said "you're right!". I handed her a copy of Clone Wars/Tetris in trade and got back a penny in change. What a deal. :)

Yes, always have the clerk check the price if you see a higher price tag. Every non-display copy of games I got yesterday still had the older, higher price (Quantum Redshift had $16.99).

I swear this is not the first time the boneheads at EB look at me like I'm some kind of a mental defective. They always ask me "are you sure it's not an online price?" how it works is that we drop prices real low for a couple of days and raise them back up to where they were. For example, I got nightfire for 5 dollars; a day later it was back up to 19.99. They do this to move shipment. If you see it posted on here, act fast because the longest these cheap price cuts happen is about 4 to 5 days.
