If I had not gone out for dinner I probably would have already seen it was on. My mom was just wondering if south park was on and while flipping I saw animatrix.
she never saw the end of South Park this week

yep, only 3 edits so far, im suprised. there were a lot of scenes im suprised thyey didnt cut so far, like the maggots, and some of the killing scenes. [as] must be getting a lot of power thanks to their ratings.

...4 edits total..and they still left in "little kid wang" at the end. confusing. But hey, your right, they are showing a surprsing amount of stuff. I was half expecting these to be censored to hell...
sorry...very odd inuyasha commercial..horny monk. i think i need a drink now

The haze bit. Now its on kid story. Reminds me so much of Bill Plymton cartoons. R.I.P. Mr Plympton

Beyond is on right now. The best one IMO. very well thought out. i like the idea of rainbows being a glitch in the matrix.

heh i just noticed one of those kids voices is the kid from oblongs. i personally like eithr detective story or osiris best. no more edits yet right? only ones so far were in second renissance correceet?

as far as ive noticed, its a-ok. everything was right in detective story (second best, imo) and there really wasnt anything to censor in kids story/world record.

I have this on DVD, but I just wanted to chime in and say that my favorites are the ones that relate to the Matrix movies directly - The Final Flight Of The Osiris, The Second Renaissance I & II, and Kid's Story...
Though, there is one exception: Beyond. That one is absolutely brilliant.

I got it on dvd too. I just like seeing what changed.
A couple of weeks ago i was watching South Park: Bigger Longer and uncut on Comedy central...and it really was UNCUT. The movie didnt offend me, i own the dvd...but that fact i was watching it without HBO or cinemax was just really weird.
This is weird too...its kinda like watching Cartoon Network grow even older. Im so proud of the little channel.

i didnt fully wtch south park, but i ahve to say, my heart jumped the first time i heard the f word on basic cable, and it was planned. almost like the shit episode. and youd be supprised with what adult swim gets away with. theyve actually said shit. there is now graphic violence, and theyre cutting less and less. now if they could only show akira uncut.

sorry, not a big Akira fan, love the bike though. Yeah, they've let a few Shit's go on Space Ghost, which is the best place to show off shit :)
The "Shit" episode made MANY good points on the subject, ranging from the fact that they are "JUST WORDS" to how they've lost almost all meaning now.
I mean, George Carlin makes jokes about death now since its ok to swear :)

What episode was Space Ghsot dropping S-bombs?
SneakyPenguin
04-18-2004, 01:01 PM
the one with triumph. moltar said "you cant say shit like that...oh sorry"
he said that because SG kept saying "I like to bang dogs up the asses!"
it was a great episode.

We'll see how much Cartoon Network has 'grown' with Gundam Seed too. That show has some gory parts in it. I watched the Japanese version.

Yeah I saw that, but I though Moltar said shi- then they cut off the t at the end.
SneakyPenguin
04-18-2004, 04:15 PM
yea they cut off the t, but no much. its like the rest of the word is stressed, but thet sort of fades. it is still easy to hear pretty much the full word.

That ep of space ghost was hilarious!
The best parts were when he would try to say something and they would cut it off with the lala.
