I dont know if this is YMMV but I noticed at my local EBgames that the limited edition and the regular edition of Jade Empire are the same price ($49.99).
I dont know if this is a fluke though...

They were released at the same price, any place charging more than 49.99 for the LE is marking it up. Online, there has usually been a larger discount for the LE than the regular edition, but again, both msrp at the same price.

I don't know how many times we're going to have to cover this..
EVERY COPY is the Limited Edition for a while, then a regular version will be released. Think of MechAssault 2.

There is no special packaging for the LE, it is the same package as the regular. its mostly the game content that makes it LE, hence the same price.

Nope, the LEs have a foil game insert with a red background and silver spine.

Stop talking out of your ass when you obvioulsy have no idea what the hell is going on.
The LE has an Orange background with a foil insert, and under Jade Empire it says Limited Edition, and has a metallic spine. While the regular version(Which is available right now, for all those other ass clowns who think they know what there talking about) has a blue background and DOESN'T say Limited Edtion, doesn't have foil, and the spine is not a metallic color. So if those are the same then so be it. I hate it when people try talking out their ass as if they know what's going on and end up providing serious customers with false info. Your an idiot so go some were else to bs people.

people getting a little crazy
perhaps i could have been clearer:
there is no special packaging, as in a tin, sleeve or otherwise extraordinary packaging container. The difference is the printed cover, which yes is overlayed with a holographic foil, and a second disc within containing the bonus materials

That's weird. I used to work in a Gamecrazy close to Canada and we'd oftentimes get games with both French and English on the back, and the insides would have both an english and french manual. Dunno if the actual game disc was different, but I think certain games have options to choose language/subtitles in them.
Remember the extremely limited Mech Assualt 2 LE? I sure wish I could get a copy of that collector's item!
