Maybe this is old news to some of you.. I was just playing the Conker demo on Jade Empire.. and..
*spoilers*
I pulled the wrong switch in the doctor's room and fried my comrade.. Anyways, while Conker watched him fry, he pulled out a magazine called "Drudge" with Halo 2 on the cover.. I thought that was pretty interesting.. then I saw for a brief second, the Killer Instinct logo was on the back of the magazine!
This could confirm it, or it could be a cheap shot at Matt Drudge, owner of the drudgereport (www.drudgereport.com) and how Drudge starts rumors.. but then again, it could be both!
Anything confirmed?? Maybe we'll see something at E3!
If you somehow played Grab by the Goulies you also see referance to past Rare games, so I dont think it means anything.

Right, but Halo 2 was on the cover of the magazine.. it's not like it was an old Nintendo Power or something.

Yeah, I think Rare is working on a new Killer Instinct game. I wouldn't be surprised if the game is called Killer Instinct 360...;)

In the original Conker game, one of the idle animations was that he'd whip out a Gameboy and play some Killer Instinct. That didn't lead to a KI sequel for this generation. I'd guess it's just a nod to past work. Then again, with Namco having Soul Calibur III (and Tekken 5) exclusively on PS2 there seems to be a definite lack of quality fighters for the Xbox (or the next one) in the pipe.

DOA sucks..
Who knows. The GB was upgraded to a GBA SP in this version.. suprisingly, Microsoft is okay with it.

your loss- DOA games are great. unfortunately, most people that bash it don't understand how to play it, though. =P
about KI...they won't attempt another one and honestly, if that was their best attempt at a fighting engine, they would absolutely drown in todays standards. (unless they added a ton of gore, some hype, a couple name-brand rappers and a heavy metal soundtrack :roll: )
Well, if Rare is working on a new KI installment it probably won't be out until 2013.
