Shocking that it's a true-Sony branded card, since the part number listed on the page matches the Sony part number.

One thing to remember about Sony product vs. Sandisk. Sandisk MSP Duo's are warrantied for 5 years, Sony's are warrantied for 1 year.

Are those Dell ones ever gonna ship out?

Are those Dell ones ever gonna ship out?
I think my ship date is next week, supposedly.

I think we might have a better chance with Amazon, frankly, so I don't know if I should try and cancel my Dell order.
One of my friends ordered a U2 iPod that was "In-stock soon".
She got it in less than 5 days and that was with the free shipping option.

Ya link says out of stock, but there's a side bar that says available new and used from 249.99$ or something.

I got an order in, the ship date for the card is the end of May.

I also placed an order at ecost for $115 and they expect it to ship out on May 8th, but when I called they said they might not get them from scandisc.

So as a backup I placed an order with Amazon, whoever ships first get my business.

Still awaiting shipping from Amazon.com. I cancelled my ecost order because of a price drop at amazon. Lets hope this ships before the rebate expires.

I just put my order in as I am losing faith in my Dell order.
I'll cancel which everone doesn't come through.

Edit: Yikes....

Shipping estimate for these items: June 7, 2005 - June 21, 2005

Oh, well...im gonna wait and see what happens.

Keep in mind these are the same ones from Dell's sites. It's a new Memory Stick from Sony. Sony was supposed to send them out weeks ago, but the date is constantly being pushed back. Any shipping date is just a guess right now.

Anyone knows if I can still get the rebate from Sony - if they ship it after the day listed on the rebate form, even if I buy it now?

Thus one of the many reasons I don't like Sony.

Just ordered one and the ship date is August 18th. Also, my Dell one just changed the ship date from 6/15/05 to 7/29/05. Unbelievable... Thanks Cheapy for the link!

When I first looked at this, I was thinking, "Damn, that was a good waste spending 36 dollars extra on a MSP Duo card at BananaPC," but then I saw that this was only in stock off and on, so it makes me feel better that mine is at least shipping now. I know I need to save money on this, but the need is greater to own a 1gb card.

My order from May 5th is still "Not yet shipped", and has a delivery estimate of "June 10, 2005 - June 27, 2005". I am pretty sure if it hasn't shipped yet, it won't make it by the 10th (4 days ago), but perhaps they have mastered time travel.

If I order it now and it arrives like 7/18, will the packing slip say 6/14 or mid-July?

You won't get this memory stick, no one will. This MS has never made it to shelves, not once. Sony still has no shipping date for retailers, so it's a pretty good guess this stick will be cancelled.

I think most will get screwed on the rebate....I thought August was the ship date...and by then, it SHOULD be cheaper

Mine shipped today.

I just checked mine, it still hasn't shipped (and still has a delivery estimate between 6/10 and 6/27). I was kind of hoping to get a definite answer on the QVC order before this shipped.

Edit: Just to update, my QVC order was, of course, cancelled long ago, and my Amazon order has yet to ship. Be careful what you wish for, indeed. My Amazon order still shows a delivery estimate between 6/10 and 6/27. Today being 6/30, I'm almost certain they won't make it.
